Main Project Output
The jointly developed solution constitutes an adaptation measure to climate change through green infrastructure, specifically by utilizing the cooling effect of vegetation, and consists of three partial solutions. Detailed measures necessary for their adoption or further implementation will be elaborated. These partial solutions are as follows:
- Recommendations on the suitability of greening using climbing plants on support structures in challenging urban environments (e.g. asphalt surfaces, narrow streets).
- Recommendations for street trees in proximity to public utilities focusing on locations with limited space for root development and tree growth.
- Recommendations on the suitability of infiltration systems in urban areas in terms of their hydrological functionality and efficiency.
Partial Project Outputs
